Museum Winter Lecture
‘Exeter, Topsham and Empire’ Given by Todd Gray

Our final winter season lecture is by the renowned Dr Todd Gray, who has devoted his working career to the study of Devon’s history, producing many books on aspects of our county’s past. Todd’s books will be available to buy at the event.
The British Empire was one of the greatest forces in the history of the country over the last 400 years.
Exeter had a particular role in imperialism and this lecture will highlight the words written or said by some of the thousands of men and woman involved in the Empire.
