A Gift in Your Will

By considering a gift in your Will – large or small – you could help our much-loved Museum continue its work in our community, into the future.

We strongly recommend that you use a legal professional when writing your Will to ensure that your wishes are carried out.

As part of that process, if you wish to leave a gift to the Museum you will require this information:

The main types of gift that you can leave are:

a percentage of your estate once gifts have been made to family, friends and others – this is called a Residual Gift; or
a specific sum of money – this is called a Pecuniary Gift.

Your chosen legal professional will be able to offer more information on these gifts.

Please note that acceptance of gifts of items or possessions is at the discretion of the Museum as we have little space to display or store items.
