Summer Lecture ‘Jane Austen in the South West’

This year is the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth. She travelled in both Devon and Dorset and her experience of these counties is reflected in both her Sense and Sensibility and Persuasion novels.

Hazel Jones is an author of books about Jane Austen and secretary of the South West Branch of the Jane Austen Society. She runs courses on the life, writing and times of Jane Austen.
