Countdown to D-Day, 6 June 1944
2024 marks 80 years since the frenetic months of 1944, when over 2 million troops from 12 countries were in Britain, preparing a surprise attack on Adolf Hitler and Nazi-occupied Europe. The people of Devon and the Exe Estuary were witnesses to this activity
Display by the Lympstone Quilters
This exciting display of seascapes and country scenes will be in the Tea Room until the end of the season. Lympstone Quilters have used fabric, thread, shells, beads and embroidery to create them.
