Fish and Ships: A play in a Day Paddleboat Theatre Tuesday 17th August

A free family event for children 6-12 with a parent/guardian 10am-4.00pm.

We are excited to announce this special event for children aged 6-12 years old, accompanied by a parent/guardian. There are limited places for 20 children with 20 adults to ensure we comply with any COVID restrictions still in place. If restrictions are lifted we may be able to add more places. This is a free event and has been made possible thanks to funding provided by the Exe Decorative and Fine Arts Society. You need to apply for a free child and parent/guardian ticket online via Eventbrite. Tickets are available now!

The award-winning Paddleboat Theatre Company will be leading this special day. They are an Exeter based company, known for their distinctive and playful approach to theatre. They will guide you through a jam-packed day with storytelling, puppetry, acting and a sea shanty or two! In one day, you will help create a brand new play about Topsham’s Maritime history. Dive into the past and discover true stories of pirates, merchants, tradesmen, and sailors. Bring these stories to life and perform them at the end of the day in Topsham Museum’s beautiful riverside garden. No previous acting experience is necessary!

We expect these tickets to go fast! So please make your order for one child and adult/guardian ticket from 1st July at, link . If booking is full, please use the reserve ticketing where a number of standby tickets will be available.  If you discover that you will be unable to make the event, please cancel your tickets so others have the chance to attend.
