The Oboussier Lecture: ‘Topsham Houses of the late 17th and early 18th Century’ on Thursday 21st November 7pm for 7.30 pm start

This event is jointly arranged by the Topsham Museum Society and the Topsham Society, this year it is the turn of the Museum to host the event on Thursday 21st November at Matthews Hall. Doors open at 7.00 pm  for a 7.30 pm start. The lecture will be given by John Thorp, an historical architectural expert and an old associate of Caroline Oboussier.  He has specialist knowledge in plaster work and has a long-term interest in Topsham and Exeter. John gave the first Oboussier lecture and this topic reflects Caroline Oboussier’s expertise.  Lily Neal will give a brief introduction about the Oboussiers. Tickets are free to Museum and Topsham Society members, £2 to members of the public, available at the door.
